Anne Slease had been a middle school English teacher for more than twenty years. Though she'd written many short stories and essays for her students, it wasn't until her own personal life took an unexpected turn that she considered writing for a broader audience.
Today, Slease is no longer a teacher. Instead, she has followed her passion for mental health advocacy by becoming Director of Advocacy & Education at NAMI Delaware (National Alliance on Mental Illness). A Brother's Oath is her first novel. Slease is represented by Ali Herring of Spencer Hill Associates. |
